Social Gravy is the indie rock project of Belarusian musician Vee Bordukov and British producer and songwriter Brad Kohn. They met at a show in downtown LA and after talking shop most of the night, decided to put something together themselves; hence Social Gravy was formed.
Their collaboration started in 2014 with a couple of song ideas thrown in a jam. After a few evening sessions produced some cool material, they decided to put together an album and Brad lined up the world famous East West Studios as the place to record it. “Behind Every Yes” is scheduled for release in early 2017—and the first few singles, Stone Cold, Fools and Make It Rain have already gained them a bit of a buzz online.
Have a listen and see if you can pick out the influences that range from The Beatles, The Arctic Monkeys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys and Neil Young.

About Vee Bordukov
With rock ‘n’ roll music being the dangerous forbidden fruit in Belarus—then a part of the Soviet Union—it’s no surprise that the adventurous Vee rebelled against the gray status quo and fell in love with rock. The guitarist’s influences are rooted in classic solos from Jimi Hendrix while mixing up the bluesy passion of artists like Eric Clapton and J.J. Cale, spiced up with a love of the social commentary of The Kinks, Paul Simon and Bob Dylan.
