The idea of the platform is that it gives artists the opportunity to further build a fan base. By sharing their songs on social media, activity and attention is generated.
I uploaded three tracks and kind of forgot about it. I was thrilled to hear that a week or two later we were among the top tracks on the app, leading in the categories I posted in. Freedom, which is one of my songs, and Beautiful and My Love by Social Gravy all became leaders in their categories. Hector, the owner of TopTrack, has since personally been in touch with me and has introduced us to Zedge who are now distributing our music as ringtones to over 30 million people. TopTrack has been really great!
